Brian Young is vice president of Budget, Credit and Bankruptcy Counseling. His counseling team provides counseling to people struggling with personal finances and unsecured debt. His group provides court-required pre-filing bankruptcy counseling. Counselors he oversees provide more than 150,000 counseling sessions per year in 28 branch offices, by telephone and over the Internet.

Prior to joining CredAbility in 2001, Young served as area manager for a major furniture retailer. In this position, he was in charge of all day to day operational functions, more than $4.6 million in annual sales and $4.2 million in account receivables.

Young is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program for Nonprofit Organizations hosted by Emory University. Young graduated from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Ga.
