Richard SchramLocal President, Central Florida and the Gulf Coast

Richard Schram is responsible for 13 counseling offices in Florida, including locations in Orlando, Tampa and Tallahassee.

Schram joined the agency in 1997. He has worked as a member of the senior management group in charge of community development and special projects for the Central Florida Region. He has helped with three successful mergers, blending operations of his local organization with other nonprofit credit counseling agencies.

Schram is a 38-year veteran of the commercial banking industry, including serving as a group president with banking groups that were merged with Bank of America. During his banking career, he was active in the chartering of three Central Florida independent community banks.

Schram graduated from the University of Florida and also from the American Institute of Banking.
