The application period for the Emergency Homeowners' Loan Program ended on July 27, 2011. If you applied for EHLP through CredAbility, and if your name was randomly selected in HUD's EHLP lottery, we will contact you during the week of August 1 to begin the next step toward verifying your eligibility, which is document collection.
The EHLP process requires that all required documents must be submitted within five days of the date you were notified of your selection.
If your name was not selected in the lottery, we will notify you that you have been placed on a waiting list in case applicants selected in the lottery fail to qualify and/or complete the verification process.
